Ive being looking into legal aid, and we are not entitled to it because my partner and I both work full time.
He's having to take his ex girlfriend to court because she's stopped letting him see his daughter.
Although we are both working, we have just bought our house in March 09, we're paying for our wedding in 2010 and we're in the middle of having a new kitchen fitted, he pays CSA and Xmas is round the corner..... so, as you can imagine.... we're completely skint and living on beans and toast to be able to manage all of this. Which is actually OK because we know by summer, we'll be straight financially, married and our home will be complete.
We just paid £500 deposit to get this all moving. initial interview, initial applications etc.
Anyway, does anyone know of any financial help, other that legal aid that we might be entitled to?
Legal aid takes my income into consideration, even though this is not my court case and not my child! it sucks!
ps, any advice about how to stay calm when a spiteful bitter jealous single mum is ruining your partners happiness by using his 5 year old girl as a tool and dragging you into debt, would be very appreciated.
