Yet, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac both (insolvent) trading all time high volumes.

Because we elect stupid people to government positions and said people only care about their paychecks and the paychecks of their buddies, and they get the ignorant masses to vote for them by waving bibles and God in their faces and saying,"I'm a christian, I'm a christian!!! I'll protect you from the minorities!!!" And then when everything goes to crap they look around and say "What the f__k happened!?!"
