No, these are not medically proved, however they are good for you if you are deficient in them. However, one does have to be careful with interactions if one is on medication and taking any of these should first be discussed with your doctor, or at the very least inform them you are taking them. Some will interfere with other medications and with some surgical procedures. It is always better to play it safe in taking care of oneself. It also depends on the type of depression one has and how severe it is. Personally, I have tried them all with disappointment and none worked for me in regards to the type of depression I have.
