Somebody told me that colleges and universities are required to give out minority scholarships to a certain number of students. I'm mexican american, and I go to a historically black university. The other day a white student stopped me and asked if I was getting a minority scholarship. I said no and he said that the school said they won't give them out. I was just wondering what the rules are about that.
Are universities required to give out minority scholarships?
