are titanium flat irons better than ceramic?

I have a girlfriend that went to hair school and she told me that ceramic isn't good but i am not sure about titanium. But she told me that Tourmaline is better for your hair but i would still use an aint- frizz serum and a heat protector on your hair too. I have used a flat iron that uses all 3 of then and my hair was really soft and really nice. The flat iron i am talking about is called Remington t-studio mini flat iron. Ceramics are a thousand times better than titanium! That's why the most expensive flat irons are made of ceramics.
