I just called Optus up reguarding the internet connection and i let them know i was experiencing technical difficulty with the internet. It was dropping often. So i rang up and one of the questions asked was if the phone i was calling off right now was the same phone connected to my modem/router. I said yes.
So yeah the smart guy on the other line tells me maybe i just need to reset my connection. After politely letting him know it won't work, i thought 'hey hes the technical support guy right?'... So i done as he said and pulled out the power for the modem/router. Phone disconnects! Good job Optus
