Since yesterday I have had a throbbing pain on the top left side of my gums. It's really difficult to tell where the pain is stemming from as most of the gum hurts but it is incredibly swollen at the back where there is a space for a wisdom tooth. I keep getting pain in the left side of my jaw(it feels really stiff) and my left cheekbone too as well as getting frequent headaches. I have a dental check up appointment in 2 weeks time but I'm not sure whether to make an emergency appointment. I'm currently taking painkillers but it's still quite painful.
