Hi, I am going into 2D animation and I want to know if these are the best schools to apply to:
1. CalArts --I know this one is probably THE best 2D school in the U.S., but it's also the toughest I believe.
2. School of Visual Arts (SVA) --Anyone know anything about this school regarding their 2D? I've heard good and bad.
3. Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) --Another school I've heard both good and bad things about. Any advice?
4. University of the Arts (UArts) --I live close to here and did their PreCollege program last summer. They aren't known for their animation but I know some people who have gotten a lot out of the school.
5. Pratt Institute --I heard both extremes on this. Some think it's not worth the money, while others say it's quite good.
6. Sheridan --I don't know really anything about Sheridan besides that it's one of the best (most likely also one of the toughest to get into) schools.
Any other schools or advice you guys can give me? Anything is appreciated!!
