Are there too many fish in my tank?

I have a 5 gallon filtered, aerated, and heated aquarium and currently there are:

1 Male Betta
3 Corydoras (less than 2 inches long)


I want to add a small plecostomus.

Would the addition of the pleco cause too much stress???
Huh... well i just added another small cory so that there's a little school of them. I have the male betta and 4 little cories and that's it. The lady at Petsmart said that it's ok.

They are fine now, but plecos grow up to 3 feet and quickly. This is fine for now but in a few months you'll have to get a bigger tank.
