Are there specialisations in animal behaviour that I can get from a psychology degree?

A career counselor told me that I can specialize in Animal behaviour and work with animals (even through research), but I can't find anything about this. I thought you could only do that in applied science.

Can anyone help me find any (preferably australian) webpages describing this career and how you move into it?
