Are there programs that scan high quality images with HP Officejet 6100?

Right now i'm scanning my images to Adobe Photoshop Starter Album Edition 3.2 but the image quality is just not good enough
and i can't increase the resolution to more than 300 cos it won't allow me
so are there any other programs i can install? thanks
 
Its not the program its the scanner you need a better scanner. But you can try photoshop elements it is a fantastic program.
