Corporations dictate American economic policies through a number of methods (i.e. the orchestrated financial collapse by GS) but have yet resorted to force or threat of violence upon civilians . As more information comes to light regarding these abuses of power, the response of ordinary Americans should predictably become increasingly antagonistic.hostile towards big businesses, particularly towards the finance industry, to say the least. If civil unrest became a reality in the US, where they (protesters) can existentially threaten corporations such as Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan through riots or clandestine means (domestic terrorism), could these companies legally hire private military contractors to protect their own assets? Could such a precedent lead to the enforcement of their policies upon the American people on American soil through the threat of force? In other words, can America "legally" transition from a representative democracy into a corporate dictatorship?
