Are there gangs of Dittoheads who deliberately vote for denial rants as "Best

Answer" in this forum? Having seen endless denial talking points, and the same stuff repeated over and over, I rarely vote on the best answer to my global warming questions. But, scanning through old questions, I see that other users have typically chosen a denial talking point as the "Best Answer" despite any scientific merit.

This leads to the conclusion that some people do nothing on this forum except vote for the answers that you'd hear on a Creationist talk show, or ones that repeat terms like "algore" and "NWO" the most often. Is this tactic common?
jim z, take note of Rush Limbaugh's decidedly religious views on global warming:

http://mediamatters.org/mmtv/201002020036 (God wouldn't let puny ol' Man cause any trouble)

You might also want to read the Environment chapter in Limbaugh's very first book, where he lays out his Creationist credentials and declares that Man can't possibly harm nature.

He's about as intelligent as your average fundamentalist and has no business talking about the natural sciences. He recently claimed that secondhand smoke is harmless, just like S. Fred Singer (fellow global warming denier). If those people are your icons, no wonder you're confused.
Dana1981, considering the high visibility of Yahoo! Answers for web queries that end in question marks, I wouldn't be surprised if some shills are being paid to boost denial answers to the top rank. $0.50 per question, maybe; one of those work-at-home jobs that trailer trash can apply for.

I post here mainly to get keywords out for thinking-people to find. There's little hope of getting a rational reply from an entrenched denier, though I am truly trying to figure out how their minds work, i.e. why they don't deny that cars cause massive amounts of smog (CO2 just happens to be invisible).

Hopefully, web searchers will ignore the "Best Answers" as mere right-wing data pollution.
