Are there difficulties communicating with mercury in retrograde natives?

I know about two people with mercury retrograde.. Often they kind of backtrack in a way or miss a beat in conversation, like sometimes things sort of don't make sense or get misplaced..
Is it like this for mercury retrograde natives? how do u work around it
