I heard all smart phones now require a data plan even if the phone is WiFi capable. This is Verizon's way of forcing you to pay for their data plan. All while pretending they are doing us a favor to keep form "overcharging us by accidental use of data transfer". I was wondering if there are any phones out there that I can use WiFi and can turn off the their data connection.
