I'd like to venture off onto a project where I'd like to build a cell phone, specifically a similar version of the Mozilla Seabird, with a basic andriod operating system. I'm quite comfortable with the programming side as I'm slowly working on my custom OS using books I've gathered, but I need more information as to what components and exactly how a mobile's hardware components are pieced together, so that it can all function. I don't mind if it is a really long tutorial or a series of tutorials, I'd like to do what it takes to accomplish this goal.
