Are there any special qualifications to teach private art lessons out of your home?

I am going to school in west virginia now, i am originally from virginia, and i was just wondering if i wanted to teach private art lessons from my house would it be necessary for me to have a degree to teach them?
 
Nope - if people are willing to take lessons from you you don't need any qualifications. Of course, if you have a degree you are likely to get more pupils and will (probably) be able to charge more, but it's still possible to get a client base without one.
