Last night a friend of mine were giving three boys a ride but he got pulled over but the issue was resolved but the police asked to search the car and found a bebe gun. Although it wasn't my friends gun the three boys wouldn't admit to it being theirs. So since it was my friend's car they took him to jail. Now he is in jail for a gun that isn't his. If I am correct, there isn't a permit required for bebe guns. So if he had it in the car there isn't a reason for him to be taken to jail right? And will this look bad if he is a felon and is currently on probation? They said that if he got into anything else he would do time. Is this serious? Can somebody please tell me the laws regarding this in the state of Georgia and what could possibly be done.
