engaged in wholesale slaughter of non believers. I want to get religion but I dont want blood on my hands
 
You confuse religion with serving God. In our current era, many have claimed that they were doing something for God, when in fact they were feeding their own ego.
 
Stick with a good pacifist philosophy. The only way a pacifist can do violence is by breaking with their own beliefs.
 
Yes. The most beautiful religion of all: Daoism, the teachings of Lao Tzu, Confucius' teacher.
 
If you didn't do anything, you shouldn't feel guilty. Go with whatever suits your beliefs.
