discussed? I'm not trying to convert any of you, but I feel that Islam does not have a good reputation to non-muslims and there are a huge amount of wrong thinking and mis-understandings.

I was a former christian, converted to Islam after studying it, so I know all of the bad things you might be thinking of it.
Better: there is not better way to love Allah than to follow him....heaven and hell has to be earned, not just given
TechWiz2... Be more specific. What lies are being spread? What contradictions? Lying is forbidden in Islam in all circumstances except for:
For reconciliation among people.
In war.
Amongst spouses, to keep peace in the family.
Even then we are advised not to do so if it will do more harm than good.

You can see, here, taste, reproduce, grow a baby in you, think, feel..the human body is extremely complicated and no human fully understands it. Then consider how many animals there are, all of which are complicated creatures. Then plants, the weather,....too much to be coincidence. Also, The Qu'ran tells us of events that will happen in the future, and some of these have already come true, even though the Qu'ran was revealed BEFORE those things happened.

Try reading the Qu'ran. If it were satanic, would we not be commanded to hurt other people instead of being friendly? Would we be told to kill everyone for no reason? Would abortion be allowed? Wouldn't adultery, alcohol, pork, dating all be allowed? The list can go on.
