...than social work? Okay I'm interested in social science related subjects such as Sociology and Political Science but not social worker or lawyer. So if I did get a BS or BA in one of these what could I do?
Well I have a sister who has a BS in Psychology and she's a social worker at a private firm, and she's actually worked there for about 10 years now and she's even received enough on-the-job training and certificates to get promoted to other jobs within the company. So obviously every job out there doesn't require just one specific degree but really i wanted to know all my options, I've also considered going into advertising or public relations (degree wise).

Having a degree in Sociology or Political Science does not qualify you to become a social worker. You need a Masters in Social Work to do such.

These fields have very limited prospects unless you go to grad school

You pretty much need to get a Masters degree to work in the Social Science field. You can't do much with a BA/BS in the Social Sciences - you'll be able to apply to random jobs requiring a BA/BS in anything, but nothing too specialized.
