i have been taking opioid pain killers for pain for a while now and i have quickly grown a tolerance to them. my doctor will not give me anything stronger or different are there any pain relievers for severe pain that are non opioid or that i will not have a tolerance to? the medication i have been taken is oxycodone and hydrocodone. would i have a tolerance to codeine?
