are there any other fish like cories but dont need to be in groups?

I want one more fish for my tank because that is all i can add, otherwise it would be overstocked. I really wanted cory cats but i only have a 10 g and theres no room for them. However, can anyone tell me of another freshwater fish that eats scraps on the bottom but doesnt need to be in a group. No shrimps or snails please.
