Are there any known Yahoo / Verizon server problems?

Occasionally I send myself emails and last night I didn't receive one of them. I tried again this morning and finally realized I was getting an error message advising me to check my server settings (incoming.yahoo.verizon.net). A Verizon technician narrowed it to an Apple Mail problem and the Apple technician narrowed it to Yahoo. Now I'm playing wait and see, hoping my test messages wind up in my InBox. Are there any known problems to the Yahoo / Verizon server? Thanks
