Are there any Journalism majors out there?

I have to write a term paper on a subject relating to Journalism. I was thinking about writing about the differences between publicly, corporately, or privately owned Newspapers. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I would love a topic that had a little bit more color and flare. Your help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
 
One of the first papers i had to do was entitled "Why did the early press take so long to develop in the UK?" which sounds really boring but is quite interesting when you start digging deeper.


You could do one on what constitutes news or ethics: ideology v reality
