I am a junior in college, and I feel that my knowledge of U.S. and world history (as well as politics and religion) is really lacking. I'm pretty sure I never developed the broad view of it all (such as time periods and their characteristics), so I find it impossible to grasp more specific concepts (such as court cases). I love reading, so are there any good books on history (NOT textbooks) that will keep my attention and teach me at the same time? Please help! I hate feeling ignorant
