I remember one from my youth that I played. It was a normal encyclopedia but it allowed "Challenges and Quizzes" which allowed you to choose a category and then answer questions in it. I think this would be a great tool to get new ideas from for my creative endeavors while, at the same time, increase my knowledge in certain particular areas.
