Well, most small fish will leave the shrimp alone, but they will eat the babies (even if its by accident). But since you have moss, the babies might be okay. I'd get a betta.

i have a cherry shrimp and moss tank but i wanted to add some life to it and are there any fish that can live with cherry shrimp and will they eat the baibies iwas thinking white clouds are there any other fish that can live with them

I have a 56 gallon tank with guppies, rummy nose tetra, hi fin lyre tail sword tails, otto cats, khuli loaches.... and a ton of very happy cherry shrimp, both red and blue.
Non of my fish seem to bother mine, in fact, when I was recently cleaning out my large AquaClear filter I found multiple shrimp babies (or at least very, very small juveniles) so they're even breeding in my tank!
However, all of my fish are small, and I'm sure given the opportunity, they'd be more than willing to eat anything they could fit in their mouth. My tank is also heavily planted with live and silk plants along with alot of driftwood. So they can hide quite easily. Other small fish with small mouths like many tetra and rasbora would be pretty good tank mates as well.
Best of Luck!

unfortunatly almost all fish will be opertunistic and munch up the baby shrimp and any smaller weaker specimins.
i dont know if its something thats been done but i have an idea of coverting a tank to have a grid across somewhat like a giant guppy breeding tank so you could keep a male betta with one male and two female platies if the tanks big enough to handle the bioload.

i have a male betta and two amando shrimp and he dosnt bother them they just jump out the way when his tail brushes them from time to time,he is pretty small and they are about an inch so unless he gets real hungry they should be fine,im waiting for it to cycle before adding 3 platies and 2 cherry shrimp to finish off my little community
