I love the poetry of Charles Bukowski, and I can compare several male poets to his style (Raymond Carver, Raegan Butcher, Billy Childish, and early Allen Ginsberg and Lawrence Ferlinghetti), but are there any female equivalents? Sylvia Plath is confessional, but she seems to be a little too far removed.
Are there any FEMALE poets who write like Charles Bukowski?
