Are there any environmentally friendly alternatives to paper coffee filters?

Are there any environmentally friendly alternatives to paper coffee filters? I know that it's better to get unbleached filters, and that I already compost my used filters, but if I just want to save the paper altogether, what are some good alternatives, and how do I go about using them?
