Are there any decent game arcades in the California valley?

Having been to Japanese arcades leaves me with much to be desired in American arcades. I mean the Japanese have tons of the latest (technology-wise) and funnest arcade games. I mean games like the POD Gundam game (literally puts you in a cockpit with joysticks and pedals), taiko drum games, various rythm games (not just DDR), card games (play by putting various Pokemon-like cards on a flat screen), and craploads more cool stuff. This leaves me very bored and unsatisfied with our simple, uninventive, uncreative, run-of-the-mill button, gun, and car games. We don't even have very many dedicated arcades. They are always found in restaurants, theatres, or connected to various other enterprises, resulting in a small arcade and and even smaller selection of games.

My question is this: are there any decent arcades with good selections of cool arcade games in the Sacramento valley or in the bay area (or in between)? By cool, I do not mean retro. We have enough of retro already.
