A friend of mine moved into an apartment about a month ago. Today they tell her that she makes too much money and has to move out. She asks if she makes enough to have a roomate and they said yes. If not, she would have to move out immediately. I told her that that didnt make any sense to me bc they knew how much money she made before she signed the lease.From what I understand, the lease is a binding agreement from both parties.And if she did have to leave, there should be a certian amount of days (I believe 30) she has to vacate.She lives on the 3rd floor so she's not really thrilled about moving again.So, she asked me if I would sign onto her lease.She's a really good friend and we help each other out a lot.Initially, I told her yes.I live in my own apartment with my own lease and plan on moving out of state soon. I dont want me signing onto another lease to hinder me and what I need to do for my future plans.Thanks!
