I would like a book where someone discovers or creates a small civilization and either merely watches them or rules over them and becomes a sort of "god" to the people.
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Also there was a book that my old philosophy teacher brought up about a young boy playing somewhere outside and another boy comes along. He asks if he can play too and the boy that came along has powers and makes small people that live. He makes a village of people and the little boy thinks it's so cool. After a while the first boy's mother calls him in or something and the boy that came alone starts to kill the little people he created since they were leaving. The first boy was saying that it was wrong. And then the 2nd boy said something like why? Or says who. I can't really rememeber.
But any info on these will be greatly appreciated
