Are there any books sorta like Harry Potter out right now?

Ex: Chronicles of Narnia..etc. But nothing romantic/love storyish.
I've read Twilight...Are there any books that kinda have the whle fantasy thing?
 
NO book could ever beat Harry Potter, but I would try the Maximum Ride series if I were you.
James Patterson is an amazing adult thriller novelist and this is sort of his teen series experiment.
It's really exciting and fast-paced.
He's really proud of it and it has a huge fanbase.
I'm pretty sure their making it a movie some time in the future as well.
Anyway, teens who can fly, enough said.

Also, if you haven't read Eragon, I would highly suggest that!
There are basically two types of Harry Potter fans.
The ones who like Twilight (romance/ character aspect) more, and the ones who like Eragon (fantasy/excitement) more.

well charlie bone is one. He goes to a magic school just like harry. A good girl series is the Clique series . u should try charlie bone though. Its pretty good
 
Try the 'Power of Five' series by Anthony Horowitz. It is quite like HP in that it centres on a group of kids who are the only ones able to stop a great Darkness from taking over the world. The first three of the books are out already but the fourth and fifth are still to be released.
 
There is an author out there that took all the classic stories like Wizard of Oz and did the other side of the story ... not super glummy but very funny and magical. You've probably heard of Wicked but he also has a bunch more. Author is Gregory Maguire
