Are their any other authors similar to S.E. Hinton?

I love her book's. There's action. And the characters seem like people I'd hang out with. Haa. Whenever I read her book's I just get so caught up in them that I wont put the book don. I read all of "Taming The Star Runner" today. And thats amazing for me. Aha. I usually say skrew books, not for me but I really enjoy reading her book's. All though Ive never read "The Outsiders".


Well thats beside's the point. But Which authors are simlar to S.E. Hintons book's? Or a book that's close to her's? Anything?
 
OMD!! You Sooo Need To Read "The Outsiders"..Before You Go Reading Anything Else =D It's One Of THE Best Books Evaa!!.. BUt Then Again That's My Opinion =P
