are their any good photo editing softwares that let me add a poster to the picture?

I was looking for a photo editing software that lets me delete someone in the picture and will make it look like im holding a poster, and on the poster i can write some text, it should be looking realistic just wondering if their are any like that, i can't use photoshop because it doesnt work on my win 7 laptop
