are the yamaha 650 bikes a good reliable vehicle?

im trying to decided between a custom and a classic. sugestions? ( o yea, their both the 2009 model.)

I'm sure they are reliable. Before I read your details, I thought you were talking about the XS650 vertical twin, from the 1970's. I would recommend one of those to you. The XS650 is an excellent platform for a street tracker, a chopper, or a bobber.

However, I never recommend a cruiser to anyone. They are lame.
