Are the Samsung T260HD and the LG M2762D monitors able to output sound from HDMI

through their Optical outs? So both monitors have HDMI ins and optical outs, but I'm not sure if they are able to pass HDMI sound to seperate speakers through their optical outs.

Since they have built-in TV tuners, I'm worried that they only output the TV sound through optical, and not the sound of other sources.
