So I am an aspiring ballerina, I want nothing more than to go professional, but I've recently started going to a new ballet school. It's a great school, it's up there with the Goh, except less stuck up. =P Anyway, my new ballet teacher told me that I have a lot of potential to be great, I just have to work hard, which is obvious, that's with ANYTHING you want to do.
But at this school they don't do RAD exams, and my teacher said that when becoming a professional RAD exams aren't even important, it only matters how well you dance. IS THIS TRUE??? Or should I continue with my exams?? Tell me straight up how it goes down when applying for a ballet company.
