Are the pre-packaged tomato plants made in China alright?

I bought this plant at Target a few weeks ago, it had one of those add water the dirt spreads out, then you put the seeds in and grow it in the little pot included. Are these like harmful?? Are there any chemicals other than all natural tomatoes that will be in my plants?? Any other helpful information???
