Everywhere you look, every sport has some sort of controversy. It is rare that we find any controversy in these two leagues. Shouldn't they be more respectable than other sports?

Since when was the NBA clean? I live in Indianapolis and the Pacers are always getting intot rouble. isn't causing a shooting at a strip club considered controversy. i don't see that very respectable.

You haven't been paying much attention if this is what you truly believe. The NBA has suffered multiple DUI's including Carmelo Anthony as well as the Referee on trial for various felonies surrounding his gambling. Sadly all sports are reflective of today's society. There are NO clean hands!

NBA isn't clean. Some of the players in the league really have a bad character. Did you ever see that brawl between the Pistons and Pacers a few years ago?

The NBA has rapists, gang shootings, crack addicts and I'm sure steroids if they just looked into it. My bet is that congress did not go after basketball because it would appear to be a racial attack given the preponderance of black athletes over white and other races
