Are the Jeep Wrangler Golden Eagle's rare?

Are they worth purchasing? I found one locally, and it looks really nice. Are they better than regular Wrangler's? What are the differences between a Golden Eagle, and say the Wrangler X or any other model? Besides the obvious physical outside differences to the GE.
