desperation is awesome and the talisman is as well they are part of one story really about this evil creature in a mining town possesing people. But my favorite stephen king book is Insomnia !!!

The Talisman is one of my favorite Stephen King books. Very interesting, very hard to put down. Desperation was not as riveting but I still enjoyed it nonetheless.
The Long Walk is definitely worth checking out! It's a story that I first read when I was fairly young and have never forgotten.

I like fiction and biography's and I enjoyed them all..My hubby likes fantasy and scifi and he enjoyed Desperation and Talisman..I don't think he has read The long walk.

Depends on your taste. Stephen King doesn't do much for me. But millions would say I'm mad. Try it and find out for yourself.
