I went to buy a used Toyota Camry LE from 2004 at a Subaru dealer (that sells new and used cars of all models) but it was like over $10,000 and I wasn't able to get financed because I have no credit and my parents have bad credit and we dont know anyone else who has good credit who could cosign. So they showed me some other cars I could buy right off the lot because all i have is $7,000. They showed me a Suzuki of 2008 that only has like 200 miles on it so far, it's really well built in the inside and in good shape. But they said I can buy it right off for what I have or maybe even a couple thousand less.

I want to know if there is something wrong w/ this car in particular or the Suzuki brand because they're trying to sell me a practically new car for about $7,000- but the USED car of 5 years is $10,000. Could there be something wrong?

I haven't heard many things at all about Suzuki, some have said that it is a good name but I still dunno much about it. I know a lot more about Toyotas and that is the car name I originally wanted.

Since I am desperate for a car right now (I REALLY NEED ONE!!), do you think I should just keep saving up until I have enough money to buy a toyota right off (which would take some more time!) or should I just buy that suzuki instead?

Toyota and Suzuki are both Japanese models, but toyota is more well-known.

Your input is very much appreciated. thank you in advance.

Depends on how you define good.....they tend to get pretty good gas milage and are relativly cheap to insure....but, they have horrible reliability ratings meaning your gunna spend alot of money to keep it running.

well, yes they are.(i think) what suzuki are you wanting to buy? sx4? grand vitara? xl7? forenza? they get good crash test ratings and there pretty reliable. hope i could help. :)
