Are spin bikes quiet?

We're in an apartment, and I wanted to buy a spin bike. Do you think it will make a lot of noise, or vibrate down to the lower floor?

We tried using a device that clips onto a regular bike to make it an exercise bike, but it made too much noise...I had to take it back...
