Are some car computers built with a wifi connection?

While at the Toyota dealership the other day, the mechanic said that the wifi wouldn't connect while he was trying to program a key fob. I asked if he ment to the car and he said yes, and pointed out some of the routers around the shop. I was just wondering what if anything you can do from this connection and whether or not he was just pulling my leg.
 
Yea,Toyota advertises that it has built in Bluetooth Capability.They have had Dianostic leads in the engines since 1980's.Only a matter of time until it's wireless.Most have to be hooked up to an OBD analyzer to read trouble codes.That is still not wireless.
