Are small generators generally allowed while camping in state parks?

I just picked up a small (1200 Watt) generator to go on a rather cold camping trip here in Florida. I might want to use the generator to charge up a battery or two but don't plan on running it all night. Do state parks generally allow the generators? It makes about as much noise as a small lawnmower.
