Are show breeders REALLY breeding dogs that conform to breeds' standards?

Because that's not what I am really seeing today. More and more show breeders are breeding and producing heavier boned/stalkier dogs, dogs that are too over-angulated in the rear, dogs that have way too much coat, dogs that have overdone strong, heavy-looking masculine heads, dogs that have shorter ears, smaller eyes, shorter thicker muzzles and so on, so on when all of this are not really what the standards asked for.

But these dogs are winning in the ring. How come? Sure they look absolutely stunning but aren't judges supposed to be picking dogs that follow the dictates of the breeds' standards?
