Are Sanyo phones exclusively for Sprint?

I used an awesome Sanyo when I was with Sprint, but I switched to AT&T and ended up with a crappy
Sony Ericsson. I can't find anything Sanyo on AT&T's website only Sprint's. Is there a way to buy a Sanyo phone and use AT&T?
So basically Sprint is the only place you can get Sanyo phones?
