I am worried because I love nature and really care about the environment and I know a lot of thing's cause pollution 
. I have a friend in England who I may want to visit in a year or so, but I dont want to take a plane as I know they are terrible for the air/environment and I couldnt walk or bike from here, (Im in Canada) 
and I dont see any other way except for a boat - I am wondering if regular, (not 'Cruise'), ship's are bad for the environment and water? At first I thought they wouldn't be 'as' bad and they would be more natural, plus more of an adventure. Does anyone know if they are really bad? And if so, what would be my best option for the environment to travel? Me & my friend also want to travel, but even further than England, and that might pose even more problems . I feel very confused over this matter, please help!
